A Home of My Own Program Guidelines

Consumer Credit Counseling Service (CCCS), a not-for-profit United Way HUD approved housing counseling agency, is dedicated to providing affordable housing opportunities to qualified households.  Through A Home of My Own, low-to-moderate income households may qualify for down-payment and closing cost assistance for the purchase of their first home.  Please do not 'disqualify' yourself because you think your household's annual income is higher than allowed .... make the inquiry to check on your qualification.  All programs are on a first-come first-served basis and there is no guarantee of funds availability.

  • The CCCS - City of Las Vegas Down Payment Assistance Program may provide up to $10,000 or six percent (6%) of the purchase price towards down-payment and certain allowable closing costs for a home purchased within the Las Vegas City limits.  Homebuyer contribution is a minimum of $1,000.
